We are excited to launch our new booklet: Walking With Us; Support That Works. This publication will be available starting on International FASD Awareness Day – September 9th at Shipyards Park. Booklets will also be available after that day by contacting us at 867-393-4948.
Walking With Us; Support That Works is a collection of stories and perspectives on the topic of support. 13 people with FASD were interviewed for their insights and many also shared their art work to showcase. Four main themes arose from this project: The Social Context of Support; Risking Trust & Relationship; Being Heard; and Being There.
